NAMI CA Youth Symposium
This year, LeadHER Up was honored to lead a workshop at the NAMI California Youth Symposium, where we shared our club’s mission, mental health programming, and peer support model. During our session, students from across the state engaged in open conversations about leadership, friendships, and mental wellness, and many expressed feeling seen, supported, and inspired. The workshop not only highlighted the impact of youth-led advocacy but also reinforced how empowering young leaders can create lasting change in school communities.
NAMI Newsletter
LeadHER Up is thrilled to announce that our club has been featured in the NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) California Newsletter for our ongoing youth-led mental health advocacy and empowerment work. This recognition highlights our efforts to uplift young women, promote emotional wellness, and build supportive peer communities.
We are also hosting our Holiday Wellness & Empowerment Seminar on December 13th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Dragonfly Art for Life Museum in Modesto. This event will include confidence-building talks, mental health insights, communication activities, and a festive space for young women to connect and grow.
We are honored to continue expanding our impact in student wellness and leadership — and we look forward to celebrating the season with compassion, connection, and empowerment.
